Just curious how many of you will be giving up your S7 Edge for the Note 7. If it's like $900 will you still buy the Note or stick with the Edge?

I sold my S7 Edge recently (using an AT&T Note 5 on T-Mobile right now) in order to get the Note 7.

I will probably ditch the edge for the note 7, had the note 5 and didn't realize how much I'd miss the s-pen. Only used it a handful of times but for those times I did having it was very helpful.

Considering it but I want to get one in my hands first. Never had a note but found the V10 a little big for me.

More than likely. And mostly to make use of the Jump on Demand fees I pay monthly.

I went from a Note 4 to a S7E and maybe to a Note 7 if the price is right. If not I'll stick with my S7E for a while longer.

    Even if it's over $900?

Would the edge be considered a good buy still if I find the Note to be too high priced? Especially if the Edge price goes down and they have a Defender case for it now although you can get those cheaper clones off Amazon.

I'm thinking the 64GB Note 7 will be $949.00 US with Tax = Over a G-Note. Yes, I will purchase one no matter the price. I'm hoping for a 128GB or 256GB model.

If that's the case I'll probably pull the trigger on the S7 edge then. Best Buy sells the unlocked version for as low as 749 currently or 769 depending on which color. I've spent too much the last 15 months on phones. I bought the S6 when it came out, then got Note 4 in July, then returned it for Note 5 then bought S7 back in late March when it came out but I want a bigger screen. I wish I originally just got the Edge. Maybe next year I'd splurge and get the Note 8 if the Note 7 turns out to be good.

I want the note 7 as well but I'll stick with the S7 edge for now unless my wife wants it. I have always liked the Note line and have had them all. I might just skip this one and grab the next one. Or get it a few months after release.

For this very reason maybe it's better to just spend the extra buck fifty and get the current model.. ie note 7? Then you can be at peace and relax without then turning around and worrying about selling your s7e to get the note 7

Not from S7 edge but S7. I initially had got the edge but swapped it to S7. Later again wanted to go back to edge but decided to keep S7 and hold out for the Note 7 instead.

Yea it seems the Edge line it's either you love it or hate it. I've seen a number of people return the Edge for the regular S7 because they hate the curved edges and accidentally hitting stuff.

With the case it was alright, but something with the flat screen it feels nice. I can be fine with the edge screen but given an option between edge and flat with everything else being equal I'll choose flat.

To be honest, when I first held the S6 edge, I hated it. It felt really awkward as the actual sides are really thin and I found myself constantly adjusting my grip to avoid accidental touches on the edges.

Since then, however, I've gradually gotten used to it and the increased thickness plus slight curve to the back on the S7 edge really did help quite a bit in handling.

I'm a converted Edge fan now. Really love the way it looks.

The way the Note 7 looks it will be a larger version of the Edge basically with the Spen. I would think a thick case like the new Otterbox Defender or one of the immitation Defenders sold on Amazon would help with the grip too.

I am very happy with the S7 Edge...
Last note I had was note 4...good piece but big in size..with s7 edge I get it all...amazing screen 5.5 but size is small....huge battery...great camera...etc..only thing note mite add is little bigger screen...s pen..
When I had the note 4 barely used the s pen...gonna stick at least for a year with the S7 Edge ds

I bought the 7edge knowing i would more than likely get the note7 as long it doesn't have something that completely turns me off. I can pass down the s7edge, and i wanted to be used to the edge screen and see if i like before the note7 came out.

The s7edge is a pretty awesome phone, but i REALLY miss the note features, so i cant wait for the new note. Just hope battery life is as good as the 7edge

What Note features do you miss? I'm guessing the Spen, but what specifically?
