I'm an iPhone user and I sell my iPhone every year to buy the new one cause they hold so much value it barely costs me anything to buy out my contract what are notes like cause I'll obviously want to sell mine in April for the new Samsung s7 series will it have a value of at least 300 pound? Keeping it in mint condition

Usually 20 to 30% down depending on where you live. If you live near the border, however, you can usually get the same (or more) than what you payed for it if you sell it in Mexico (just make sure it's unlocked or you'll have a harder time trying to sell it). Before I had Jump! I sold mine there on a business trip and would sell in less than a couple of days.

iPhones still have the best resale values, in Android there are so many flagships different price points etc so resale value takes a larger hit compared to iPhones.

Note 5's are selling in my area on CL for roughly 400 right now and most that are that price are in excellent condition. Android compared to iPhones don't hold as great resale value unfortunely.

The prices drop like flies. I sold my Note 5 so long ago that I can't even remember what I got for it.
I had trouble getting decent money for an S7 edge that was less than 30 days old.

I would check prices for where you plan to sell it that could make a big difference. Note 5 pricing should give a good indication
