Pre-order retail is $864 for Verizon, or $36/mo on DPP. New customers and upgrades get the usual up to$300 trade in credit. Doesn't look like they are offering any other deals yet.

What state do you live in? I feel like a lot of the packages departing from Memphis are going a good distance away I'm an hour from mine is still sitting there

Anybody have experience using the VR on a prior version? Any good? I'm debating picking it up 8/19 (new one that's compatible with note 7) and spending the 99 at Best Buy..

Yeah, that is a Verizon requirement...I tried to get around this in the past but no go.

We use the gear vr on my husbands s6 edge and the note 5. We love it and in fact I ordered the new one when I ordered the note 7.
