It would seem that Scottie needs to beam down and give Samsung the formula for transparent aluminum.
Sure... The Moto z force offers a shatterproof screen... If it is a must have for youWell, why don't they make their screens shatter-proof? Hard to believe that with all the hi-faluting technology we find on phones today shatter-proof glass is not one of the items we find.

If you think so there are many other models without then such as older notes or the S7 .Curves are such a bad idea
Of course there is shatterproof phones! My Galaxy S7 Active has a beautiful glass screen that is shatterproof because of the polycarbonate layer that was added above it that you can't even notice is on there.Yeah the trade off for plastic is AWFUL screen quality. I would rather just get a good case than have a screen that looks like crap lol.

I believe they added that to help but I don't remember them saying shatterproof like the Droid. That's the difference in screen quality of a real shatterproof phone.Of course there is shatterproof phones! From Samsung's own description:
Engineered to be shatter-resistant, the Galaxy S7 active gives you extra protection, making the occasional fumble, stumble or drop nothing to worry about. Galaxy S7 active 32GB (AT&T)
It doesn't get anymore shatter resistant, basically shatterproof:
It survived multiple drops from varied heights and even a 400 foot drop!

And 50 drops straight onto concrete here.

The day we get sapphire screens will be nice. I have banged my sapphire watch crystals so many times I have lost count. Nary a scratch.
Downside... very expensive material.
One can hope!
Right on i can never understand it either it isn't a surprise that it is glass so expect itI never understand people flipping out over shattered glass. It's glass, it can break. Until a company labels and makes it shatterproof, it's gonna happen.
