Phones from Samsung.com..... ready for activation?

I ordered my Note from Samsung. What is the activation process for those with prior experience? I am on Verizon.

I think you just take your Sim card from your current phone and stick it in the Note 7 and away you go.

You may also have to call or go to your My Verizon online and activate the SIM card with that particular phone but it is very easy and painless to do.

Verizon may differ from other carriers. I'm tmobile and have a note 5. They said just put the sim in the new one.

That's all you should have to do unless it's an older phone with them larger sim cards.

So I can assume the phone will come without a SIM?

It will have a SIM. But if you use that SIM you will have to get your carrier to activate it. Best to use the SIM you have in your phone now, if the size is correct. I believe the note 7 is a nano
