According to this article from MobileSyrup, this is kinda disappointing, will this change anyone's mind that maybe have a S7E and were thinking Note?

I know most here are in the US so won't affect them but for the canucks out there.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 runs the Snapdragon 820 in Canada rather than its Exynos 8890 chip | MobileSyrup.com

For me who was coming from the BlackBerry world I have the new DTEK50 coming and was originally going with S7E but then pre-ordered the Note 7 since when you add the incentives my carrier (Rogers) is offering it's basically equivalent to S7E but now with this new I may just look at S7E again since I don't really have a need for S Pen

Same model as other NA models I believe. They all appear to draw from the same SM-N930U root...

It came straight from Samsung Canada, so I'd take their word over Best Buy any day.

As noted by other commenters on that site, Samsung Canada reps have delivered varying information before as well
