I want to see the new design of the otterbox defender in person. I'm a big fan of the defender series. The pictures of it look good, hope verizon has them on release day.

Other than that i also like the speck candyshell grip cases, because it really does keep the phone locked in your hand.

I went a bit overboard as people kept posting about case deals. Depending on if you consider the sleeve and holster cases I'm going to end up with 6-8 cases. The first couple I ordered I wasn't sure I was going to get by the time my phone arrives, so I ordered a few of the others. I'm a bit worried that some of these cases are going to add an edge to the edge-less screen of the Note 7. (edit: I just received an Orzly FlexiCase I ordered for the Note7, and this case at least only has the sides of the case go just slightly higher than the buttons on the sides. Therefore it probably will not cover or go over the curved edges of the Note 7 screen).

I ordered the Ringke Fusion and the Orzly Flexi. I prefer crystal clear cases since these devices have such a sleek look nowadays. I'm not even 100% sure I'm doing the N7, but one must be prepared!

The one linked above works with cases on the phone there is also a smaller/tighter model if you are choosing to go caseless. I recieved my case, and can upload pictures of it later if anyone wants to see it in non-amazon pictures. I tested out its size by putting in one of the cases for the Note 7 I've recieved, and its got a nice fit.

I was getting the fusion anyway but added the other 2 because of the $1.99 deal.

I have a Spigen Tough Armor now. Will probably get a Speck Candyshell once they're on Amazon and available as it's generally my "go to" case. Maybe a Defender if Otterbox pulls it off this time.
