Except the S7 will begin to drop in price and be the subject of all sort of carrier deals. That's all I'm really saying.

The Note is going to be for people who want truly top of the line.

None of your pros matter, because it only has 4gigs of ram and not 6 and it's a old processor and doesn't have a removable back cover and no IR blaster.

I'm just saying...that's the only gripe the OG note people have.

Hmm.. I'm an OG Note person, owned every one when released.

I have no complaints.

The 820 is an old processor?

Not really, but as soon as the next one is announced everyone feels it should be in a new phone. Kinda like android versions.
There are new ones, but this one is supposed to be tweaked. I dont have a problem with it personally lol.

Thank you everyone for some valid points that I had not thought of. I guess I will have to go hold one in my hands and play around with it for an hour or so and see if it is something I want to drop another wad of cash on. If there is a freebie of memory or gear 2, then that might help offset the weightlessness of my wallet if I do end up buying one.

I skipped the note 5. Couldn't give up my edge, expandable storage and a replaceable battery.
I'm stoked about this N7. The 19th can't get here fast enough. For me the pluses are:
IP68
Better rear camera (mp aren't everything)
Better front camera
64gb internal storage
Wireless charging
Thinner, lighter
Usb c (I'm all for reversible)
One touch fingerprint
Improved s pen
Always on display
Notes from "off" screen

Yes, x2. I am coming from a Note Edge - been using it since launch day about 2 years ago. It's been a fantastic ride with the edge, but it's that time. Honestly, the only thing I don't like about the new Note 7 is that Samsung is going more mainstream. I used to love that it was an elite club. ;)

Ok so is it an upgrade to my launch Note Edge or not??
