    Well all the reps I've talked to say that they will be shipped tomorrow so there's no way you can get it tomorrow. Unless they have no idea what they are talking about haha.
    They never do. They aren't trained to, if I'm being completely honest with you.

    Live chat with sprint just now. She said they are waiting on the order to come in tomorrow and would begin shipping immediately. I asked from where she said Louisville, ky. Good for me I suppose since I'm in Tennessee. At least that's what I'm telling myself
    isnt Sprint CS based out of the Philippians? maybe their tomorrow means 2 days for us? lol

    I don't have my phone yet, but are any other sprinties just like, super happy that the other carriers don't have their phones either?

    Call it bad karma, misery lovin comp.. whatever. I just think it's great to know that besides reviewers, no one else has their phone either.

    So today's Wednesday; still hasn't shipped meaning it has no chance of being here Thursday. The best case scenario now is that it will arrive Friday. Last time I will ever pre-order.

    People...breath, inhale, exhale, repeat. Worse comes to worse...you get the phone Saturday or Monday, a week from now you won't even remember the difference.

    seriously calm down people it gets there when it gets there. but in all seriousness it usually gets there the day before release with pre-orders. This is the first time i've pre-ordered via the sprint store and even they are saying it will get there before the 19th and with pre-orders and as soon as they arrive pre-orders only can pick them up.

    No its not an onyx thing,i have the titanium odered and still have (shipping by the 17th) correct me if I'm wrong, but today is the 17th!

    I have done preorder with most of the phones I have received since preorder started. I have been with Sprint since 98 and the one thing I noticed is you can't believe much of what the reps say. My tracking number gets to me the day or day before I receive the phone in most cases. I have never received the phone before the release in the store. If it said the 19th for release then I received it on the 19th. So I am not concerned that I won't get it early since I never have before.

    it is absolutely different for everyone. i have also been a long time sprint customer and have always gotten my pre-order the day before release.

    Crazy last year i received my phone on a Tuesday the Note 5 and i did get my shipping info on a friday and I eas beyond shocked.

    Just got off chat with sprint and this is what they said

    "I see here according to the inventory report the device will be on stock and shipped by the end of 8/17. Once shipped, most orders are delivered within 2 to 3 business days. All orders are fulfilled and shipped on a first in, first out basis. I see you placed your order on the 3rd so it should be among the first to ship out, also you can track the status yourself at www.sprint.com/myorder with the order number."

    They said that with the pre-order there is no guarantee that you will get it on release day, but its guaranteed that you will get the phone in the color you want without waiting in line.

    Is it me or does the rep reply sound extremely robotic? Like reading verbatim from some sheet?

    My pet peeve when speaking with agents is that (unless its contract oriented), and when they repeat what i LITERALLY just told them.
    Me: hi could you please tell me my balance
    Agent: sure, so you would like to check your balance. Correct?

    Customers do the same at my job.
    Me: please unplug the power cord
    Cust: you want me to unplug the power cord

    Then they have me questioning if i spoke english or accidentally started speaking spanish.

    This would be a travesty for me because I leave for a 7 day vacation Saturday morning! It's Friday, earlier or bust for me.

    They have the phones, samsung shipped them ahead to providers, all carriers are holding shipments till release day.
