    I agree that it is a canned statement. Now their website says "shipping in september" if you try and order now. I still have a slight bit of optimism that we will all be pleasantly surprised come Friday. Nobody ruin my dreams.
    It didn't say that when I ordered on the 3rd, so I will keep that sight bit of optimism with you.

    Also, if they are going to give canned responses, at least be consistent with them. Send out a company wide email and tell the reps to say "we are at the bottom of the ladder, we know nothing".

    It seems like their bosses told them to say anything but the truth. That, or they are trying to customize the canned responses so we will complain less on forums ๐Ÿค”

    Well i just got off a long conversation with Samsung on the phone. I know the "last week of a August, first week of September" is a canned response. Mainly because they are still getting orders for phones today and their managers have just told them to "hold to" that message. They aren't even looking as to when the phone was ordered. Probably trying to save time..... She did confirm that they are shipping first come first serve and "alluded" to the ones who ordered on the 3rd thru 5th would probably be on the first shipment out. She said that they are going to start shipping on the 19th.... BUT take all of this with a "grain of salt" because I don't know how much they are really letting "the cat out of the bag" right now. I told her that the "assumption" by everyone pre-ordering on their site the first few days never dreamed the phones would be received later than the 19th being that you could just walk into the store and pick one up on the 19th which kind of negates the reason of "pre-order". She was very polite and I could tell that they hate trying to give us generic answers to our orders due to the fact that people are getting upset with them. Not sure what others might do but I will probably wait up till the 19th to see what happens. My problem is that they have already shipped me the 256GB card and if I cancel now I will have to work out a way to get the card back to them and then go and re-order somewhere else. (Makes me wish I would have done this through Best Buy). So again I think I will wait it out as much as i hate it and if it comes in real late i will never "pre-order" through them again. But we shall see. As mentioned earlier by PhabPhan I to will "continue to be impatiently patient"... I love that statement PhabPhan!!

    One more thing. Like others have said everywhere you will know when it is getting ready to ship by your charge card getting hit with the total.

    So a week after I reserved my device I finally got an email from sam admin that my pre order is ready for completion. So I went ahead and paid via pay pal. Not sure when this will be shipped.

    First time ordering through Samsung amd I have to say it's definitely different that ordering an iPhone where you order and pay at the same time.

    Anytime! Also, I went to BB today and was told I would need to sign up for a new contact in order to get the card. If I want to buy outright, is online only and it would be the Gear Fit. ๐Ÿ˜• I will try another BB tomorrow.

    I wonder if we share a certain portion of our order numbers if we will be able to tell anything?

    I ask because I tried to order at midnight (EST) but it wasn't available to me until around 1-1:30am.

    I highly doubt there are a ton of us that ordered directly. 90% went through carriers.

    Oh, one more thing, Samsung sucks to not offer an unlocked version on launch. I don't like contracts but I'm going to get a freaking ATT branded one with all the bloat.

    Still no action from Samsung. No credit card charge or website updates. Trying to come to the realization that I will not be receiving my $900 plus preordered phone on release day. It really irritates me when i think about the amount of money spent for this product if that scenario plays out.

    Called again today. Samsung claims they will not receive them in warehouse until Aug 18 at midnight, and shipping will begin on Aug 19. Not that this is news to anyone. I'm still praying this is just customer service jib-jab, but at this point I'd be happy with a 19th ship date.

    Called again today. Samsung claims they will not receive them in warehouse until Aug 18 at midnight, and shipping will begin on Aug 19. Not that this is news to anyone. I'm still praying this is just customer service jib-jab, but at this point I'd be happy with a 19th ship date.
    That's basically what they told me yesterday evening. So we now have two saying that, so I too will be happy if it at least ships on the 19th. I guess I don't have any choice anyway.

    Hi all I also ordered the first day and mine says boxed shipment for both the card and the phone on ATT, via the samsung store. What I think no one has mentionned is that this not being handled by Samsung its Digital River and they are very last minute it comes to shipment updates and notifications. I have ordered my HTC 10 and BB Priv both came through digital river and both same results. I would not keep stressing your phones will be here when they said unless you got an official back order. As someone who has had multiple experiences with them this is normal and emailing and chatting with customer services gets nothing done faster. Whatever the recevied by date is when the phone will arrive again unless you have some sort of back order status.

    No problem just sharing what I had been through since it is being shipped by digital river who is notorious for not communicating just go into the HTC 10, and BBVA priv forums it was the same there.

    When they shipped my Fit 2 preorder bonus, it left the warehouse on Aug 4th at 4:00am, I got my shipment notice at 7:05pm Aug 5th...FWIW

    That is how they (digital river) operates if you visit the other forums here that I listed you will see me and everyone else with the same issue. That company sucks but a lot of manufacturers outsource to them to ship the phones vs doing it themselves like Apple does.

    I'm surprised cause usually I CAN'T WAIT to get my new phone.. or guitar... or amp... or whatever I ordered.... but right now I'm just happy knowing it'll come in the next month or so... and in the mean time still enjoying my Note 5, which is still great to use
