No way. I've never used a screen protector with Gorilla Glass. Case yes. I've never had even a micro scratch either. I'd never put something over that amazing display.

Just out of curiosity, which case has given you the best results in your experience?

I was debating on getting a protector -- finally got the TPU screen protector from spigen, figuring that glass would definitely cover up the display's potential. Maybe the new GG5 will not need it after all...I also got the Naked Tough case from TMO.

I was too until seeing this video showing how the Gorilla Glass 5 on the Note 7 is not much more scratch resistant than plastic!

Just got my origin scan will be here tomorrow (Dallas area). BTW just watched a video testing the scratch resistance of gg5 not very good. Scratches way easier than gg4. Way better shatter resistance but will scratch easier.

Hey just a heads up everyone. Jerry from jerryrigeverything just tested the gorilla glass 5 on the note7 and it scratches a lot easier than previous gorilla glass. Check him out on YouTube. He's pretty reliable

Just out of curiosity, which case has given you the best results in your experience?

I've been using the Spigen Rugged Armor case for the Note 5, S7e and soon N7. It's a great, fairly minimal case. I like the feel in hand. I've never had to "use" it...luckily but I think it would protect well in fall. I paid $12... and it's $10 now. Definitely a great deal and quality case.
