Who is offering consumer subsidized upgrades anymore? And for $350?? That's the problem.

And it's not $350... I am actually able to get it from my company's subsidized upgrade through AT&T and I can get an iPhone 6 for $200 or the Plus for a little more... but right now the Note 7... the subsidized price is $600. Still not cheap for me but I'm willing to do it for $600 for this phone. I wonder if I wait a month or two

I can't imagine that most people actually pay full price for the phone. I would say most use a subsidized upgrade to purchase the phone for $350 as opposed to $850.

Good deal. Don't like Verizon though... wouldn't hook me up with a replacement phone when my PrimeCo phone died.

Most carriers don't use subsidized plans anymore. Occasionally you'll get a deal as a new customer but the rest of us in the United States, have to pay full price like other countries have had to do for years.

Samsung preorder is sold out til at least the middle of September. So yes it's in high demand.
I don't doubt you but would love to see a link to that other than your post.

Demand for the note is not high.

Very few will choose to spend that much on a phone.

Samsungs and other manufacturers lower end phones will sell in much, much larger numbers.
And there you have it. HE has spoken.

I got the Note7 because I've always wanted a water-resistant Note. This is my dream phone.

That isn't that good a deal considering the same two-year contract is $299 when you get it straight from Verizon.

If you play $600 once, and aren't paying any additional monthly fee then that's a good deal. If you're paying that, and a device cost then its not such a good deal. You will not see a price drop in a couple of months. Its likely to be nearly a year before the Note 7 drops in price.

As mentioned above its not such a good deal when you factor in that Verizon directly is $299. There is also the $20 a month for 24 months Verizon is going to charge you. At the $299 price point you have 299+480=779. At your $350+480=$830. Still a better deal then the 860-890 most people are paying for the device outright or in monthly installments.

I assume the $20 monthly fee you are referring to is the line access fee? If that is the case don't all Verizon customers have to pay a line access fee regardless of how they buy their phone/plan?

Thanks for breakdown of info. Yeah just $600 and plus tax I think around $640. My boss just got his Note 7 and showed me the invoice.

Our company has a number of phones in corporate account but we don't upgrade that often so they all come up eligible and we just use it. Later if that line we used need to actually upgrade, we just use another line's upgrade lol.

Yeah as much as I like the Note 7, without this option I just don't think I could spend my own money at full price... $850 + tax your talking over $900 for a phone.
