Please, is there anyone out there who can tell me what is going on? Do I need a different type of card? I can download Google movies onto cards 64 gbs or less, but forget it when it comes to the higher capacity card. It happened on my Tab S2 tablet, now it is happening on the new Note. So frustrating.

    Thanks!

By the way, Samsung was no help and when I called Google about it last week for my tablet, the guy tried to tell me the movies could not be downloaded on SD cards, lol, there is an option for it right in the settings.

Uh, I have a 128gb card in my Note 2014 and never had an issue with it. Is it possible the card just needs to be formatted or is damaged? Just throwing it against the wall to see what sticks!

That is great for you two. I am on my second 128gb card on two devices and cannot download a google movie on either device with the 128gb cards.

I downloaded almost all my movies. It showed they were downloaded on the Google movie app but when I tried to play them I got a message that the file was not found. Just like half my missing music files.

Samsung and Kingston. Have never had one problem with 64 gb cards. Just these 128 gb cards.

I've always had a better experience keeping the card in my phone, hooking up to my computer, and transferring that way. I don't have the best luck moving things using the built in card reader on my MBP for some reason. Files always get screwy.
