Owner of note 7 here. As the WiFi and data drain the battery, I only have it on when needed. With that being said, I love that on my s6 and other android phones you are able to use the Google key board to do speech to text with out requiring either WiFi or data to be on. The Note 7 requires you to download the Google key board to be downloaded from the play store and set as your default keyboard and voice input in settings. Love that I can out-smart the tech coach at Verizon who told me speech to text is not possible Hah!!!

The only problem I have with that is that if I use my S pen it doesn't automatically go to the handwriting screen. Does anyone know if there's a way to set just google for the voice to text? Much better than the stock voice to text. Also don't like the google layout of keyboard.
