AT&T Update??

Hey Folks,

Just wondering if anyone else out there received an AT&T update to their Note7 within a day of owning it?

I just purchased mine yesterday evening, did minor installs (SIM card, a handful of apps, blank SD card) and this morning when I woke up, it prompted that there was an AT&T update that needed to be installed. After about 30 minutes, it was ready for use. Now, since I only just got it, I don't know what exactly as updated, but there was also a bunch of new apps that were updated immediately after the AT&T update. I've since been trying to disable auto-updates. Not sure if I caught everything, so we'll see.

Was it normal to receive this update for any other AT&T owners out there?

Yes i believe it was just a security update....I got that aswell

I got my phone 7 days ago. I received the update within the first few days.

Got 2 note 7's on Saturday August 20th. Minutes after activating the phone it showed there was an update.

When my sister's Note 7 came in the mail on the 18th and I had it activated for her since then and once I did, there was an update available for it. It was the August security patch so it's normal to have received the update. The update for the note 7 came quicker than for my s7e which I only received an update for a few days ago
