It's gonna take a few more days, with a weekend and a holiday thrown in, for Verizon to set up a firm Top-to-Bottom policy and the rules trickle down to the stores.
I was at a Verizon Store at 9:45 a.m. this morning and the clerk told me the recall did NOT include U.S. phones. I told him he was wrong and he asked me where I got the phone. When I told him I pre-ordered it at the Verizon website, he was OBVIOUSLY relieved and considered himself off-the-hook.
So I figure it wont be sorted out with Verizon till Wednesday-Thursdayish.
