Yep, and in that case most of us will not be in that 14 day window if we have to wait until they go on sale again. If for some reason I don't get the note 7 tomorrow I'm just gonna keep the Edge and be done with it. I'm too tired to care anymore as it is but I'm gonna give it one good shot tomorrow for all the time I've put into it already.

Good luck, im going to do the same tomorrow

I decided to just stick with the Edge. Still a great phone! I would just wait a few months and see what the S8 Edge offers. I got a feeling many on here will jump to that. That is what most Note users did last year. I'm tired of dealing with all this too.

Note 7 sales this year are shot then if indeed they're having production issues as stated in the other thread and more delays in getting replacements out.

I'm going to try to get my Note 7 back tomorrow. If it doesn't work out, then it doesn't work out and I will just have to be okay with holding on the Edge, and while the Edge IS a great phone, its not as good as the Note 7 was...at least that's my opinion. And since I never really wanted to lose my Note 7 anyway, I feel like I should be allowed to have the phone I want, after all, I'm the one paying for it.

I still have my G4 and my note 7 as instructed and just realized I'm getting charged the monthly fee for both devices? What should I be getting charged for the old phone, the new phone or neither?
Any ideas? When I call them which charge should I try to dispute

Well lucky maybe. I went to t-mobile in Atlanta and the total process took 2 hours. There were several people in front of me and many of them were there for the N7 replacement. Some brought in their old N7's to exchange for new ones. Good news is they had black and blue models I got the black. They didn't ask for the box or any of the accessories I got a new box and new goodies in it too. There was no restocking fee but I was charged a $51 down deposit and basically signed a new EIP. Was hesitant about it and told her that I didn't think a down payment was needed and she said that they credit my original down payment back when I got the first note. That's why I had to do it again. They weren't installing zagg screen protectors so I'll have to wait on that.

The box has the new V2 number on it with the black square too. Still says Galaxy Note 7 on back of phone not Note 7S or Note V2. I asked if the IMEI on the back of the phone will work with TSA and FAA. She told me a few days ago a t-mobile customer was not allowed on the plane because of using a galaxy device. She was talking on it. She tried to explain to FAA that it wasn't even a Note 7 it was a normal S7 and they wouldn't budge/didn't care. The t-mobile lady had to talk the airlines and they just told her to not take it out during the flight. Really harsh considering it's not even the Note 7. No update for green battery icon yet or security update. Hope everyone's process goes smooth tomorrow I almost didn't get mine today since the official channels started once I was already in line. I'm hoping nothing is messed up with my account but it's showing S7 Edge and EIP for that X_X.

Good news is also I FINALLY got the email for the gear vr approved saying it's going to ship soon. Status has been stuck on "waiting to ship" for over a week so I think it's getting ready to ship and get my tracking numbers.

I got my replacement phone today..S7Edge silver. Now I'm really torn if I should stick with the silver or go back to the black. Man the silver looks great with the black slim case from Spigen. Decisions decisions. Never had a silver phone only black. Anyone else going from black to silver?

Got this email just now from T-Mo:

New Note7 devices will be available soon!

You can head into a retail store near you starting on Wednesday, September 21st. For locations check out our store locator here. Please note that we can't help you transfer your data or contacts from your old phone to your replacement phone in the store. This is due to safety guidelines from the CPSC tied to the recall.

Don't want to go to a store? Give us a call at 1-844-275-9309 to get the exchange process started. We'll ship your new phone to the T-Mobile store of your choice and send you a message when it's ready.

We encourage you to stop using and power down your recalled Note7 immediately.

I believe that there should be notes there. If not, I have old Twitter DM exchanges with @TMobile that should hopefully be enough proof.

I DM'ed this to @TMobile 45 minutes ago and have yet to receive a reply:

So close to just getting a OnePlus Three, even though I really like the Note 7. The 1+3 is the only device that comes close, thanks to having a bottom headphone jack and a front-facing fingerprint sensor.

Given the below image, it says they will be available for "sale" on the 21st.

I'm in the same boat. Returned ours last week and used old JOD phone instead of turning them in.
I got mixed messages on Twitter DM. I got irritated after the last response and called. They said since it shows I was a previous Note7 owner, they would note my account and I shouldn't have any issue. He said get to the stores early because they will run out. Then, the store would put me on a list and they would call once it was delivered to the store for pickup. He apologized for all the misinformation out there as well and said he was a specialist who had all the latest information, FWIW.
I received a newer DM minutes after that call basically saying the same thing.
We can only hope the stores are informed and read the notes on the accounts.

I called the 844# and it went smooth. I was on the phone 5 minutes and I was all set to have a new device shipped. She said confirmation email was on its way. 5 minutes later I get an email that says "thanks for calling, we will keep you updated on when replacements are available. " No order number or acknowledgement that I placed an order. Maybe not as smooth as it seemed. Hopefully just a auto email that goes out and I will get shipping details later. I don't have time until Friday to attempt an in store exchange, so I'm not out anything if this doesn't work. But I will have saved myself the long lines and hassles of getting a sales rep that doesn't know what's going on if it did work. The fact that I already turned in my Note for a loaner was a problem (even though its what they told us to do) and she had to get approval to do the exchange. In store, I can see that being a problem.

She did say that they have 260,000 exchanges to do and that they do have enough stock to handle them all. The warehouses however are overwhelmed and moving slow so its looking like 48-72 hours to get them door to door.

Edit: I had to call back, but the order was OK and I got my confirmation number.

It's my understanding the phone will be shipped to the T-Mobile store of your choice. They aren't delivering to the home. Even my confirmation email said shipped to store. I'm not even sure what the purpose of "ordering" over the phone is honestly!
