eBay should ban all listings and remove it from their catalog. Same for sites like swappa. Act like the device hasn't been released yet.
Sorry but i gotta come to my "fav site" SWAPPA's defense again. SWAPPA pulled all listings of Note 7 as of midnight Sept 1, 2016... they don't want you buying any phones that go boom anymore than you do : )

Samsung giving the $25 credit is, to me, a joke. With all the misinformation and carrier's having little to no clue on this process, it makes the purchase of this phone a burden. Shouldn't it be fun and exciting to get new tech? I've been a long time Samsung owner and will continue to be but this scenario has been nothing short of a Three stooges episode. Or maybe I should say Abbot & Costello's "Who's on first?" skit. I know, I dated myself.

Thats awesome. But I hope sites like them do the same too. Any site that allows users to buy/sell electronics where it's possible to get these devices.

Samsung needs to seriously consider offering a FREE Samsung Protection Plan for Note 7. Maybe federal government and CP will suggest this. If the iPhone 7 wasn't being launched it would be easier to recover.

Okay folks, this article hit earlier today and hopefully the labeling will be global:

Power Down and Don't Charge Note 7 per The Consumer Product Safety Commission-galaxy-note-7-replacement-identifier.jpg

So there will be a sticker with a black square on it, and perhaps a second sticker with an "S" on it.

I dont think the guys jeep burnt to the ground, or the guys garage burnt up, or the guys motel room got damaged on the first, second or 20th charge. I bet they used the big scary charger a few times before the damage occurred.

I am still using mine and am not scarred. I am charging in a safe environment. Just wish I had a comparible choice to replace this note 7 with considering the Note 7 was the only reason I upgraded early to begin with. I would keep it but it's looking like the replacement may take some time now. I just want to set up a phone to my likings and be done with it now!

Yah know what? I'm gonna go shop for cases....this is turning into a big mess. I already returned my Note 5 , I don't have a back up phone, I don't want a s7 edge or whateva it's called or a different phone and I need my phone for work...so I am waiting for a Note 7 replacement, whenever that happens. Gonna go get some nice cases, at this rate....this is going to be a long haul. When they ban the phone all together it will be time for a Note 8.......

Samsung Thailand wrote out early September promising some freebies for the inconvenience but my local supplier has refused to honour it. So i told them where to put their explosive phone.

Believe half of what you see on TV or the internet. These forums are filled with folks who have or imagine they may have issues. The overwhelming amount of Note 7`s will have zero issues. Less than 1%. It's like the latest crisis on TV. Concrete crisis. Zika crisis. Cable crisis. Etc......

The key words are "purchasing" and "selling". Those of us currently with Note 7s will be "exchanging" for them. There will be no purchasing or selling of the new Notes during that promotional period (at least in the USA).
Not if we return for a refund, and re-order when they come up for sale again....

    I may go this route.

Or I may check out the v20...

Either way, ima give it a few more days to decide.

It doesn't matter if it has issues or not. They want you to stop using the phones, because it could have an issue. Why play with fire?
If you want to get a N7 then keep the phone just stop using your current one until you get a replacement. I mean no one is going to die if they can't use their daily driver for a few weeks. Go pick up a burner if you must have a phone or go to your provider and explain your situation and see what they can do for you. But it's not very wise to keep doing something just, because you are not having issues at the moment...IMOP
