Yes, it's reddit but an hour ago someone posted on the Galaxy Note 7 subreddit that they received their replacement Note7.

Where are the pictures of the box showing the differences between the new one and original.
Just posted this comment on that thread.

I'd like to see the manufacture date on it if it's real.

I believe it, a lot of data and speculation has pointed to replacement devices being ready. Lots of rumors that US based retailers actually have replacements in their possession.

Fingers crossed the CPSC doesn't screw things up for those of us in the US.

Seems like a large pile of BS.
If I was the first and only person in the world to receive a replacement Note 7, I would post pictures of everything for everyone to see.

    Sorry for blasting you.
Can you download the app Samsung Info and let us know the manufacture date of this new Note 7?

Her replacement Note 7 was manufactured in Vietnam on 08/31/2016

Is this before we even knew about the bad batteries?

Yes. This is before we knew about the recall. First notification from anyone official was 9/2 in the US. Anyone else have a different date? First Sammy notice.

Because they are making samsung jump thru hoops and testing before they release the revised note 7 to consumers in the United states

I don't think the manufacture date means much (I could be wrong), but some units were made with Chinese batteries, which were OK. Other devices only need to have the battery replaced, which probably wouldn't change the manufacture date.

Perhaps samsung have managed now to identify the offending batches and can determine via serial numbers which ones are safe. That could mean that certain carriers are holding 'good ones'.

    Unlikely but poss.

Still, it won't do much for s/h values or consumer confidence unless they release an accessible database anyone can check and that includes new customers.
