    Dumb question but why do you to guys think it's best to wait. They're probably made in large batches so I can't imagine getting one on the 21st is any different than on say the 29th?

    If any new issues pop up in the next week or so, you won't have to mess with trying to get another loaner, etc...

    My Note 5 loaner is keeping up great though. Have only had two very minor issues with the screen stuck then working again. It's fast and mostly glitch free and can handle whatever I throw at it

    Even though I got my note 5 external battery case yesterday, the device still drains badly due to the bad USB port because I have disabled as much as I could using Package Disabler Pro, and stopped background apps. I'm going to call AT&T and see if I can get my replacement on the 21st after pre-ordering the device and not being able to take it home due to the recall, which happened a week after I placed the order.

    There is no point in waiting in my opinion. I would get my new note 7 exchanged on 21st or sooner if possible. Mainly because I don't want to miss out and wait longer for them to come in stock. Also if more issues arise with new note 7 then I would say samsung goofed up big big time and so did cpsc who did testing. So I would hope now the new notes are good pieces.

    I will be out of town(23-29th) for my birthday. Really need to exchange before the 30th. Verizon is very sneaky. The reps will try to find any reason not to help you if they know it won't result in a sale.

    Yeah no phone beats note 7 in my opinion too. Ya hope these come on or before 21st. I also fly out first week in October so need my device prior to that. Fingers crossed. Anyone get any ETA from their carriers or stores on when they will come in ?

    My local T-Mobile stores in Ohio are saying the 21st that doesn't mean I won't check with them tomorrow and the next day though LOL

    I hope best buy gets all colors and carriers on or before 21st. I preordered my replacement note 7 from them last Saturday so still waiting. Till then I powered down my old note 7.

    Well I have received my new replacement Note 7.

    Firstly, no blue S sticker or little black dot to indicate it is safe. I called them and was verbally reassured that they would NEVER send a "replacement" phone that would be dangerous and that it was 100% tested. I said I want that in writing including my IMEI number on it, it's the least you can do for me. We'll see if I ever get that! Also they didn't send me an unlock code (ordered through Samsung Canada). They sent it up the chain and sent me an email the next day with an unlock code but no mention of the IMEI it's attached to, so I asked for clarification on that too!

    I want to see some sort of means to tangibly check on my device or want them to do their "green charging battery icon" damn soon.

    As for the return unit, I have to laugh, they expect me to make a 7hr+ drive (there and back) to drop off the phone in Edmonton. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. It has also been escalated, I am very curious as to what their solution will be that won't involve me driving.

    Other than that, great phone. I don't use the fast charge because I charge overnight. So far love the device. I did a craptastic job of putting on a clear skinwrap on the back, bubble central, but it won't be my permanent cover, also put on an IQ shield front screen protector which is curing as I type, will evaluate it later, seems to curve nicely on the edges.

    I wish everyone luck and happiness with their new devices. Oh! and I ordered a Silver one

    Anyone else got any satisfaction with regards to knowing if their replacement device is TRULY safe?
