Anybody who bought from Samsung store try and return theirs yet? I can't get through and don't want to go all the way down there if they haven't started returns yet?

On the noon news today they said Samsung Canada will be making an announcement shortly on how to return the phone for a full refund. Stay tuned.

I called 1-800-SAMSUNG today and the agent said Samsung is still figuring out the process with their carrier partners, and then thanks for my patience.

I went to my Costco and she called Bell . The person in the other end of the line was no help. I then happened to be walking by a Bell store and the lady there called someone who was helpful.

Apparently the dealers will be getting guidance tonight about how to process exchanges at the original point of purchase.

My replacement was delivered few minutes ago. I spoke with customer service at Rogers and they still have a clear instructions on what to do next. Will use replacement until someone at Rogers instructs me on the next step.
If there is no choice but give up on my N7, I will get the S7 Edge. Don't want to switch brands. It's a devil you know.

Same here with Telus. They are still awaiting word on how to handle the replacement phones. I guess it's a different process because the replacements came directly from Samsung. I'm pushing for a swap to a Moto Z. I don't want another Samsung at this time. Besides, airlines etc, won't be able to tell the difference between the Note7 and the S7E, so it would still be a headache to fly.

The Telus Business reps have been awesome so far though. They are doing everything they can to make the swap happen for me before I go on 4 flights starting on the 18th.

I would be quite happy to get my Note 5 back. I had for a year and loved it. It was flawless. The switch to N7 was a result of a new gadget itch rather than necessity. I passed my N5 to my wife and upgraded her S5 to Note 7 what was supposed to be my new toy. Darn, it didn't work out the way I planned.

Same thing here. I had an S7 Edge, and swapped carriers. I used that as an excuse to scratch my tech itch and get the Note 7. I long sold my S7E, so this is my only device now.

I wonder how this will work for those of us who upgraded online...I'm with Bell Mobility, and can do without the gigantic flail I usually encounter when I've used my local retail outlets

Yea. We will have to wait and see how the carriers handle this.
