Non official charging wires and pads

Hi

I'm new to the forum and hope to be the owner of a Note 7 in the coming weeks once the roll out gets underway.

I'm curious to know whether there are any problems with using non Samsung charging wires or pads.

I ask this as a shop worker told me there's a risk that non official items could damage the phone or battery.

All opinions / advice appreciated thanks.

I have both an official quick charger samsung wireless pad (at home) and an tronsmart pad (at work) and both work just fine charging with my spigen neo hybrid case. Just make sure you use a certified cable and quick charger plug instead of those cheap generic ones.

They work really well and I love that they stand the phone up. Work great on the nightstand and on my desk at work.

I'm currently testing https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5438974 for review. So far, it works well. This is my first taste of wireless charging, and it's pretty awesome. It definitely charges quickly -- almost on par with an actual cable and fast charger.

I take it there's no risk to the devices using non Samsung products ?
