Who's to say he didn't drop it causing the battery to be damaged. I dropped my evo 3d and it instantly started getting warm.
Funny... People don't believe what they read on the net.... Unless it says new phones are safe. Then believe it for sure.
Nothing is 100% safe. The question is whether the Note 7 is as safe as Note 5. I doubt it. Even now. We'll seeWe'll that's not true either, because I never believe ANYTHING it completely safe 100 percent of the time.
Try again.

When that iPhone blew up on the plane it was a big story.
That shouldn't happen either.Who's to say he didn't drop it causing the battery to be damaged. I dropped my evo 3d and it instantly started getting warm.
If one burns in a kitchen and nobody is hurt it doesn't make the news. If people are injured or in a plane big story no matter the brand
I think just about any phone hurting people makes the newsRight. But that is NOT the case with a Note 7, new or otherwise.
If a Note 7 looks at someone funny it's news, even if it's one of the so called "good" ones.

That's just the harsh reality of our world.Right now, any type of failure is going to make news... because anything "NOTE 7 FIREZ" will get clicks, or ratings, etc. That's how it'll be for a little bit, at least until the next shiny thing catches the media's attention and they move on.
Fact is that there WILL be story where a new Note 7 catches fire.... it happens. You go digging around and you'll find stories of damn near every phone on the market suffering a nasty battery failure. It's the nature of the beast. But a story about a Moto Z catching fire is ho-hum... but another Note 7? Whoa nelly....
So Samsung will be on top of anything that pops up... and they will be held to a higher standard than the other OEMS. They aren't going to be given any sort of leeway when it comes to any type of failure, even if the new Note 7s end up with a much lower failure rate than the rest of the industry. But that's the price they'll pay for releasing a phone with a nasty defect.
That's just the harsh reality of our world.
And on that note, I've got my replacement. We'll see how this goes.
I'm not sure.Oh that's right... your post reminds me you had that issue with #brickgate with those exynos machines. With all the explosion talk other issues got pushed to the side... wonder if that's been resolved?
