How Should The New Issue Be Handled?

Just a general opinion post. If the replacement Notes are deemed a hazard, how do you think Samsung and/or carriers should handle things properly?

For as long as someone owns one. I just got mine last Friday and I hate to get rid of it. What scares me if if they no longer support it with updates etc. Seems like at&t are done with it and of course that's who I'm with.
