It's a given all phones depreciate, but does anyone have any thoughts how the Note 7 value will hold? I only had mine for 2 weeks and coming from iPhones really took a liking to it and still keen to have one.

I'm not keen on paying full price right now particularly with the current issues. Mindful its still a top end device is there a chance they'll come down in price anytime soon?

It's not even available for sale at this moment so it's hard to say. There is also a very real risk it may be completely recalled. I don't think this phone will have much resale value at all.

Verizon still has it for sale on their website.

I was quoted $1,348 (AUS) by a salesman today with no discount - and no discount in the foreseeable future. That's a lot of coin for a phone which has a question mark over its head.

I'll hedge my bets Samsung won't make another recall and people will just want to off load it so they can piece of mind in their homes.

I don't think anyone can say anything concrete right now about this phone. You might want to just wait and see what happens over the next few days because some are predicting that this phone is over. I am not one of them but I will say the overall situation is pretty sad and pathetic.
