Wow this is appalling. People it's a phone I guess mainly OP it's a phone and being in denial isn't going to make this issue go away. Just accept it and stop using the N7.
That's how good the Note 7 is

Up until when do we have to return this phone? Im gonna call Tmobile. Because I wanna take my time to research the next phone I want. At the end of the day I am the one who went through 2 recalls and will be forking over money. No one is giving me a free phone or a discount right now. So I'm gonna give it back, but if there is some time I will choose what I want first. And I have no back up phone right now.

Instead of listening to a bunch of quitters, I wanna here from those not ready to give up. I bought a black Note 7 a few days after launch, lusted for silver, so I traded, and now have a replacement. My wife also had silver but got an S7 edge because she said the Note 7 was too advanced. That makes 4 Note 7's that have passed through my house. Samsung has seemingly tried its best with the recall and many people are showing no patience or understanding. I'd like to rally the Note 7 users that live their phones and don't want an alternative. Samsung must know we exist. I'd take another recall and it wouldn't bother me. I like the phone just that much. I mean look at all the promotional stuff people pocketed only to just turn their backs. Gift cards, sd cards, watches, and gear vr' s.
You will find no support from Samsung for this phone anymore. Likely they will disable it via update.

Samsung have seized production for good.

    Basically, the phone is worthless.

If the phones get killed (like ime shut down) before I get a replacement, I am going to wipe my rear with the N7 before it's boxed back up.

I seriously hope we get a shut off notice, it would really suck to be at work using the N7 when the phone signal is killed. Can you imagine the carrier mess/lines if they shut this phone down in a short timeline. I already have 8+ hours at best buy from this N7

I am not keeping mine but will research the phone I want. So until then it's being used or until it becomes obsolete wateva comes first. Hopefully, no more than the next 2 weeks.

If we have to accept the demise of this phone, can we at least get our panties out of a wad while doing it? I don't need a lecture about the dangers of keeping the phone.

I am looking at V20 so far (but I have nightmares from an old LG phone I had....lol), the Axon 7 or the Moto Z play. I need something with a large screen, supports SD card and greater than 32 gb......no iphone please.
By the way can we pre-order the LG V20? I know right, shouldn't even be talking about "pre-order" right now...lol.

And for now not thinking of an S7 Edge or Note 5, not in the mood to give Samsung more money. And to think I just bought a Samsung washing machine. And I have the Tab S2.

I don't think it can be disabled, honestly I doubt they will disable them anytime soon. What will probably happen is no support first, no updates for apps and so on. And carriers probably putting a time frame on when phone can be returned.
