My apologies to you and others that feel this way. I assure you that this was not the intent. In Korea, the rumor on one of the news was that the battery is being stressed outside of the charging control thus creating a situation now where batteries smoke without charging. I really wish Samsung would do their engineering/diagnostics faster to let us know. Again, my apologies as I really liked my N7.

I love LG....love LG they reason they are doing the trade is because LG phones should never cost more than $650 new....ever
It would not surprise me if you can pick the phone up in 4 months around $400. Heck I only paid $350 for my V10 6 months after it came out (might have been sooner). I've owned every LG Flagship since the Optimus days and I never pay for them when they come out.

I'm moving on because I'm being forced to. I'll give back my GN7 when the Pixel XL I ordered comes in. If I'm as underwhelmed with it as I think I'm going to be, I'll return it and wait... again... on the LG v20. Hopefully, it will underwhelm me less... If not, Note 5 off eBay for now.

And no, I won't be glad I did, not in the slightest, because there's not a phone out there today even remotely close to what I'm having to give back...

No, I think the $20 phone was so you could buy it and have a phone to take and get the $200 trade in credit some of the carriers are offering for "any working smartphone".

Yes, it's hard top come from the N7. But I think that this experience will make the S8or S8 pro with Spen awesome!

Apart from the N7, every other Note had chappy battery life, specially the Note 5. Not that I want LG's chappy battery either...lol.

Ips lcd display. Most phones are better than the V20 display. At the same time though I can't blame them for putting in a crappy display because of how weak the battery is. Oooooo but it's removable. I rather have a sealed battery that lasts 6.5+ hours SOT than a battery that I have to change three times a day.

Hey guys...I have had all notes. I love the notes and what they bring. So I switched to the V20....and I can tell u...this phone is awesome. The battery life blows the N7 out of the water! Been off charger since 9am and its 1030pm...still at 55%. The LCD screen is really good. Its just different the Samsung. The speed is super fast. Slot snappier than my N7 I still have yet to return. Camera is good...just not as good in low light, but still awesome camera. I have never had another LG phone, so I can't comment on others experience. But as far as this phone goes, its amazing. 2nd screen is really a great idea...it adds a lot. Wish they had more theme s, but hopefully in future. So...if ur looking for which phone to go to...this phone is a beast!

The display isn't bad at all, on par with iPhone 7+, the contrast of 2000:1 which is the best result for LCD so far.
The audio quality is amazing.

I get a full 24 hours out of my LG V20 with SOT between 5-6 hours. I'd say that's pretty good battery life.
