I bought 2 note 8s from staples with the recent coupon. I want to get everything setup and basically make a mirror image on the other. I guess I can nandroid backup/restore after I root both. But for future changes like app installs and game saves, what is the best way to sync the two? I see that the paid Helium backup app has an "android sync" feature. Does anybody know how that works?

I haven't used it yet with Helium but I believe version of Helium has the option to save to cloud services and use that to do daily backups and restores.

Any method of backup like Helium or for rooted devices Titanium Backup or My Backup Root/Pro will handle what your looking for.

just did this last night, root with note8 tool kit and flashed cwm recovery on both, made a nandroid backup from one that is all set up and restored it on the other. everything was perfect, until i tried to locate the second one (that I restored onto) using android device manager. it keeps saying unable to locate device. it had no trouble locating the first one (the one that I backed up from). Any thoughts? I'm temped to factory reset the second one to see if ADM can locate it...maybe restoring the nandroid from a different device messed it up?
