    Dear all

i have a Galaxy Note 8, everything is fine with the device, it has the latest update for my region 4.2.2

the screen works fine with handtouch, however with the S Pen, at some point the screen is unresponsive as appears in the image below.

Do you have a case with a magnet, if so remove the case and try again, most work fine, one I bought drove the tablet nuts with lag and dead spots.

Clear cache and do a full power down often fixes bugs but I expect you have done that.

Thank you! I found a dead pen area too. Found this and sure enough I have a mounting magnet on back of case.

Since I never really use the s pen except to goof off its a non issue for me.

    Thank you for this!

I'm having this problem out of the blue. No magnetic case, yet the whole right half of my screen is unresponsive to my S Pen. It also stopped vibrating when inserting or removing it from the phone. Any suggestions?
