Sasmsung Galaxy Note 8.0 - Bluetooth music streaming interferes with wifi

I have a Note 8 GT-N5110 with Android 4.1.2. When I stream music from the device to my bluetooth speaker (Philips SBT75/12), it interferes with my wifi speed (2.4Ghz 802.11N network). It drops from 20Mbps to 8Mbps on average but with a lot of speed drops to 0Mbps. Sometimes it loses the complete wifi connection and I have to reconnect. This is particularly annoying when listening to live radio (via Tune In) for instance.

I suspect it is a hardware issue or perhaps an Android bug. I have contacted Samsung, but they won't help, they only offer support for Samsung Android devices. Unfortunately they don't sell bluetooth speakers.

Does anybody else have this problem or tips?
