S Note 3.1.1403.3

I downloaded the newer version of S Note via XDA. The app seems to install fine, but when I go to run it, I get to the splash screen and it hangs there.

I can go back to the home screen so it isn't locking up the tablet, but it just won't run.

I see others have gotten it to run, did it take any tricks? I have the WiFi only version on Kit Kat 4.4.2.
