Considering canceling my VZW pre-order.

Just hit me tonight that I feel sort of bamboozled by big red.
Other carriers are supposedly shipping out today or tomorrow. Not us, gotta wait till the 15th.
Some carriers are offering 2 for 1 note 8 if you add a line.
Not VZW.
Best buy I selling the same unit, with the same freebies, for 150 less than VZW.
My note 4 works fine.
Idk. I've reached the age where practicality and principles come into play.
My phone works fine and they're jacking us around while other carriers are seemingly more concerned about their customers.
I was playing with a note 8 in best buy tonight and my Note 4 does essentially the same thing. And has an IR blaster.
Idk. I'll make my mind up this weekend. They said I could cancel if it hadn't shipped yet.
So, I've still got 2 weeks to cancel I reckon.
See what happens when they give us too much time to rethink and compare.
