Sure the Pixel 2 xl is great but the Note 8 has better scores on noise, lowlight, artifacts and zoom. I prefer double cameras and optical zoom.

Notice, in the test, they compare it to the iPhone 8 Plus and the old Pixel, not the Note 8???

Which is pretty insignificant in the big realm of things, especially considering how the vast majority use their phone cams.

Most definitely. I will also be getting the LG V30 and intend to do a full comparison of all 3. I need to buy one of those dorky looking camera 'rigs' that all the reviewers seem to use - a thing that holds up all 3 phones together.

If so, you better move soon. Pixels get sold out in very short time. The white/black XL I wanted sold out in minutes! Literally, I added it to cart and before I could checkout it went out of stock so I had to get the all black one.

I can wait. Using my Note 8 is no heartache
Overall the pixel won't be as complete as the note I'm sure. But I like to make my own mind up. Be good to compare them side by side.

Friendly photo talk is good. Especially when in direct comparison to the Note8 by people actually shooting with it in anger.

But I agree, get posting more photos.

I really like that full auto has a good shutter speed to capture candid moments without motion blur even in low light. My G6 always struggled with this.
