you're welcome. I was shocked. I actually paid for one of their packages a while back before Google got it. just installed them all and put the goodies for PS, but will copy them to LR since that's the package I use the most.

Here's another comparison - Note 8 and V30. First photo of every set is V30, V30 photos also have a watermark on bottom right.

One caveat is V30 photos were shot with the ported zsl/hdr+ Google camera app instead of the stock LG app.

Both are VERY comparable! If you rreallly sit and pixel peep, V30 has slightly better detail and color, but you'll never notice it on the web. And I mean very slight.

So did the Note 8 take both pictures 1 and 2, because I don't see a Note 8 in either photo?

Morning shot taken in Mumbai, India.

The camera certainly got confused with the wires. I saw another note 8 photo the same way. Looks kind of like inside a tent and looking up at the canvas with supporting cables. The canvas would sag a little next to the cables.

Maybe his first two pictures were just showing his camera holding fixture, but you're right - it looks like the V30 and a Pixel, not the Note 8, KJ!

I took some of electricity pylon wires that confused the hell out of it.

Almost as much as the Note8 hates sky and clouds. Always looks like it's been super processed on the clouds. My main issue with this camera / post processing.

Bosshog, your pictures are always a treat for sore eyes, keep up the great work!

Your recent pics look a touch high on the "HDR effect" - are you adding an HDR filter in post, or doing something to the settings while shooting? I am curious because the stock camera app in the Note 8 is generally mild on HDR.

P.S: I have been busy posting pics on the LG V30 thread so haven't contributed much here recently. I vill be baak!

Been trying various camera apps.
Pretty much all those shots had no post processing.

So back to the stock one now.

The note destroys skys, it's major flaw in my eyes.
