Wondering if all notes are the same. Will an unlocked T-Mobile note 8 be able to have full function on the Verizon network?

    Thanks

I'll wait until the Verizon folks chime in, but while it would work, carrier-specific functions might not. In the past, this has been the case for WiFi-Calling, for instance. Although some carriers did update their services and eventually allowed unlocked devices with support to use the feature, I'm not sure Big Red is one of them.

This. VoLTE/WiFi calling most likely won't work.

Vvm won't work either. Not sure if the tmobile version has all the radios enabled for verizon? You can always flash the Verizon software, if technically inclined.

They are the same, internally. However, on T Mobile firmware, it may not work as well on VZW; not sure that it will recognize CDMA frequency.

If you move to VZW after getting the phone unlocked, you might want to either flash VZW firmware or US Unlocked firmware using Odin.

This can be done on all US/Canada Note8 models since they share the same internals.
