Little lines on screens

A nine else notice the little lined that run up and down all of the surface of the screen? They make tiny littl squares. You on really notice them when the screen is dark but, if held just right, you can seen them when your screen is active. I wonder why they did this? Sometimes they even look like tiny dots all over the screen.

I returned and replaced mine.. Cause it had lines that looked like it was auto brightening like crazy
