Wifi auto selection issues.

I have a router and repeater, and for whatever reason my Note prefers the repeater even though it had a lower reception most of the time.

Even when I manually change it back to the router, soon after it was change back to the repeater.

The only response I have that really doesn't answer your question is Netgear orbi. I got this setup earlier this year, and I can't say enough good things about it

have both phone usually selects the one I'm closest to when I turn it on. You could have the phone forget the connection you don't want to use.

I thought about that but then it defeats purpose of the repeater where I don't get reception in the house
