SatNav app's > Voice not working over bluetooth with Note 8

Hi all... again.

I wondering if anyone could possibly give me some advice please?

I have a Note 8 and have tried Google Driving, Sygic and Here's navigation apps and voice directions on all these apps will not sound over bluetooth.

Bluetooth is connected/paired to my year old Sony car stereo and it says connected for voice and media. However when I try voice navigation I get no audio at all. Not even from the phones speaker. The volume is turned up on both phone and stereo and no battery saving functions are being utilised and voice is enabled within the apps.

My old Nokia N8 worked with on problems at all.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Does anyone know a fix?

I am having the similar issue with my 2017 Audi. If I say OKGoogle, or hit the phone voice key on the car, I see the display, but no sound most of the time. Some times it works. If I play music on the phone, it plays on the car like it should. If I use Android Auto, it works all the time.
