On the Note 8, I was reading a review comparing usable screen size to other phones, and this seemed very impressive, perhaps the best single reason to get it. (I'm not pulling that trigger right NOW, actually, since I like what I have now a lot, it's paid for, the Note 8 price is pretty hideous and I'm hanging onto removable batteries until such time as they don't exist!)

But for future reference....for those who have compared, with other flagship, big screen phones (5.7 and up)--do you really notice a nice difference in Note 8 screen size in regular use?

Yep do notice, especially the quality, the difference in format/shape took a little getting used to coming from the Note 4 but I have zero regrets even if I paid over 900 Euro for the note 8

Came from a V20, I can definitely notice the difference in size and quality. I really liked my V20, but this phone is just better.

I also came from a V20 that replaced my Note 7 as it was the only new phone with a 5.7 inch display. There is really no comparison. The Note 8 display is the undisputed King.

width is good (narrower than iphone plus makes it easier to handle) but height is a bit too much, overkill, and weighs a bit too much

I have very petite hands and the last phone I had was the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and I just love this phone. It feels so good in hand and I love the height and weight. I love my new sexy note 8.

For some reason, the Note 8 just doesn't seem all that big to me. Guess I'm used to it.
