Today I couldn't turn the screen on my Note 8. The phone was on because I was using it but I laid out down for a few minutes, picked it up to use and and nothing. Called TMobile and they tried to troubleshoot it but nothing could get it to turn on. I took the Sim card and my SD card out and put them in a back up phone. My SD card was corrupted the backup phone said and I lost over 2,000 pictures. This afternoon I tried turning the screen on and it works, except it says the phone has been locked by Macafee. I unlock it, put the sim card and SD card back in. Working good so far but SD card is blank now. I had already ordered a new phone through warranty exchange so I'm not keeping this one but I don't know what the heck happened. Anyone else experience something like that?

Not sure what the technical problem is, but it sound like the corrupted SD card.
I had the exact same problem on my old N4 for a while and I finally found out my SD card was corrupted and causing the issue.
