Unlocked Phone Carrier Limitations

I wanted to get the unlocked Galaxy Note 8 but are concerned about some of the limitations the carrier may put on this. Currently using AT&T but will jump to Verizon soon.

Very confusing - some say no HD or Visual Voicemail, etc. Is there any work around for this? Or are I am going to be punished for getting an unlocked phone?

If you have Tmobile, all those features should work with the unlocked model. If you really want an unlocked phone I'd go with tmobile then.

I have it running on AT&T. There is no HD voice calling but you can download the visual voicemail app and it works fine. Not sure if it's available for Verizon though.
