So these things are trash! They keep lifting off the edges about a month or so after a perfect install!!

I Have no joke purchased this 7 times!!!

Amazon luckily has sent me 4 of those free but the other 3 I had to pay for myself! I am doing nothing wrong. It is a simple mindless process in my opinion. Its the crappy glue that they are using that has to be the issue.

Does anyone know why this keeps lifting on the edges like this a 3+ weeks after install?!!!

Curved screens have 2 problems, 1 that may eventually be fixed.

    1. Glass protectors lift from the edge somewhere eventually. The curve of the screen isn't identical to the inside curve of the protector. Even a micron's difference at one spot will eventually cause it to lift, and since screens vary by more than a micron, no single glass protector can work with all phones. Plastic protectors can be made to work.

    2. The curved portion of the screen usually isn't properly annealed and will eventually develop tiny spiderweb cracks on the surface. This may be fixed, if a large enough number of people refuse to buy phones with curved screens. (It's going to be expensive for the manufacturers, but having phones sit in the warehouse is more expensive.)

Just go naked. Get insurance. It's cheaper to get a replacement phone then spend all that money on screen protectors. That may or may not work depending on the drop. Plus you'll enjoy the feel of the phone screen more.

After my dome lifted, I just put on the liquid nano coating to keep the micro scratches away. So far, so good!

This is why I don't even bother with screen protectors anymore. Same issues starting with the S7. Even that little curve it has makes it hard to find a good protector. I hate these curved screens. I wish they would go to a flat screen for the Note line.

Geez... Bad news and sorry to hear it.

I've said this many times on this forum - There really is no good product on the market for the Note 8 that is affordable and that can reliably be installed by most owners.

In this case, it appears that you DID install it properly, and it still fails. Man, can't some manufacturer get this right?

Looks like we either go without or live with the known shortcomings of film.

Emailed already never received a response.
Not using a case never have.
Cured it LONGER than the stated time. Phone is perfect the 3 or 4 weeks later starts to lift. It's clearly an issue with the cheap glue you use.
Don't press the power button too strong? Wtf does that even mean... I barely have to touch the button to make it work I'm not sitting her smashing my phone buttons like a Neanderthal.

First of all, we are deeply sorry about the lifting and making you inconvenient. We would like to support you best we could right away for this case. To support you please contact us to this email (feedback@whitestonedome.com). As we see your attached photo, we can give you some tips for this case. When installing, enough curing time is needed for perfect installation. To prevent lifting, must use compatible case considering our dome glass size. Also, do not pressure too much on same spot like home button or on-off button. The strength when pushing button, it will cause bubbles and peeling. Hope you can install perfectly next time and enjoy our product. Thank you.

I have a bodyguardz glass screen protector on mine since launch and no issues at all. My line of work gets my phone wet and dirty daily and it still looks new. I use the budyguardz case which is also great. I really don't notice the edge of the glass but honestly I really don't look either.

Go onto their chat... tell them its a faulty product and that youve bought 3 of them and want a refund. They literally did it multiple times for me instantly. It didnt hurt that I had a email from the manufacturer that said "cant help you talk to amazon". Pricks.

I seriously doubt people will just stop buying curved screen phones. Based on the sales of the S7 Edge, the Note 7 (before its batteries started exploding), the S8/S8+, the Note 8, the (cough) iPhone X, and others, they are not going away anytime soon. Furthermore, I expect more phones to be released next year with curved screens as the manufacturing processes are refined and ramp up.

It will have to rely on the screen protector manufacturers to step up their game and make better protectors.

I've had mine for about as long as I had my phone (since September) and have since installed it on my sister's phone and my best friends phone and the bubbling has not happened to either of our phones. Sorry to hear that you've been having issues with yours.

I've been a big fan of this product for the last couple months but mine is starting to lift now on the bottom parts of the screen. We've been having extremely Arctic temps here in NH, so I really think it's got to do with going from extreme cold to warm when I get back indoors. I can usually smooth it back out once it's warmed up again but it's starting to get worse each day now. Honestly thinking of going naked but I'm in construction, idk
