... Cancer cells thrive on carbs, but can't get energy from fat.

You absolutely can. With the ketogenic way of eating. Adequate protein + <20 carbs + fat to meet your daily macros. When little to no carbohydrates are consumed, your body will convert dietary and stored fat to ketones. Your body will use ketones for energy instead of glucose.

I'll have been strict keto 5 years this May. I've never had more energy or been more fit in my life (58 now).

My 81 yr old Mom started a few months after me because she had three different cancers in a several year period, two very rare with no effective chemo for them. She's doing great.

My 31 yr old son (who introduced me to keto) has been eating this way for almost six years. He did it initially to lose weight (100 lbs in under a year) and has stuck with it for all its other benefits.

Think ribeye with drizzled butter, sautéed veggies (greens are best/lowest carbs), salad.... Most fun way of eating ever

(Sorry to go off topic, but had to share that with you! PM me if you'd like to talk more.)
