So it appears the Note 8, after a long painstakingly months waiting will get the Android Oreo update. What do you guys think will be added? I think Picture in picture mode will be added and more battery optimizations will be added. What do you guys think?

I think I'll just wait and see what's added instead of trying to guess.

SamMobile has a series for S8 but apart from few features, we should get the rest for Note 8 as well along with any S Pen features if available.

Basically what the S8 already has but with S Pen stuff.

Many of the stuff that's added in Oreo has existed on Samsung's UX for some time now albeit in a different form.

Personally, LDAC support is what I'm waiting for. It makes my WH-1000XM2 purchase even more worthwhile.

Yeah I'm guessing not much will change for both devices except for S pen features. Maybe some more options for the dual camera? Who knows really

Are you not aware that Note devices have had picture in picture for like, ever?

I'm running Oreo on my Note 8 already. Don't get to excited. There really isn't anything new added. They've added a few new AOD clock designs as well as Edge Lighting designs, and that's about it. It's 99% backend improvements that Oreo adds.

Yeah it kind of sucks that not many features will be added.
