Latest update on Verizon in the US

My last update was march 1st. The OREO I think, my wife just received another update just now on her s8+ and she also got an update last month that makes 2 on her phone since my March update? Anyone else on Verizon received any updates since March?

I don't think any of the US carriers have gotten the April Security update since the Oreo update.

Verizon has posted a changelog for the Note 8 April security patch dated tomorrow, but it's not downloading yet. Maybe tomorrow

Yeah, I seen that last night when I went to my Verizon account where it said latest update was May 14th. but, it was only the 13th. at that time. I guess I'll see what happens today if, anything!

T-Mobile's latest update, released a few hours after your post, does have the April 1 security patch level.

The new Google program is going to require - not request, require - that security updates be released monthly. I guess Google is getting tired of people complaining about new phones having bugs that Google has fixed already.

There were some fixes -- as there always are. Just saying them pushing out last month's a month late doesn't bode well for future updates.

Keep in mind, that Verizon just pushed out Oreo and probably didn't have time to get to the first monthly update. The next update will probably on time.
