Someone, please help me to get rid of this malware/adware. It keep popping up something like this, like every 15 minutes !
i have already tried paid Kaspersky, not helping at all. It is Samsung Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950U and still Nougat, cause the update still not available.
Anyone experiences the same case?
I have several times reformat the SD Storage (just in case the malware sticks to the storage), i have tried several times to reset to factory data, but it still happening after 1-2 weeks. No i didnt open porn stuffs etc, nor switch on the Unknown Data Source.

I really have no idea. Please help! Thank you...

Regards,

Mario

Install Norton Mobile. It will tell you which software causes this.

AdGuard has eliminated all adware from popping up in my browsers and apps. The reason I ever tried it was because Samsung’s own Samsung App was always playing adware with sound every time I opened it with no way to disable ads in it.

Try the free trial for yourself. I was told to,get the app directly from the developer site and side load it I guess because the App Store version is different so I also recommend that to people. One of the few apps I’ve been a happy to spend money for.

Also, go into Settings > Apps > tap the three dots > Configure apps > Draw over other apps. As far as I can see in the screenshot, the adware app can draw over other apps so the "Draw over other apps" permission should be enabled for it. Try looking through the list and see if any suspicios apps have this permission, and try disabling it if you suspect an app.

Another thing - do you have any "booster" or "cleaner" apps installed? They often do more harm than good. Most of them are just partly useful and are full of various types of ads - banners, pop-ups, notification ads, etc.

UC Browser is a known adware and malware factory.
Uninstall it and install Malware bytes and let it clean things up. That should fix it.

True. But if find an app you like, install it and it does what you want it to, if the only irritating part is that they tried to push adware and an app like AdGuard thwarts it, then it's doing it's job.

Just like Samsung App... you really have no choice in having the app if you have Samsung apps running, like Samsung Keyboard by default, and want updates. So irritating that they give NO way to disable their Ads just like trying to force Bixby... but AdGuard took care of that. I probably wouldnt have gone to this extreme but their ad had crazy music playing when it popped up that would bring attention to everyone around me and you're scrambling to shut it up. So irritating.

If the developer is pushing some sort of malicious malware or virus then that's another thing and to protect yourself you'll have to also use something else to cover all your bases in avoiding Adware, Malware and Virus'.

Besides AdGuard for adware, I use Bitdefender Security for Virus' and Malware. I have found no issue with BitDefender or any performance issue having both running so I can recommend that too.

Yes but if someone installs an app which uses adware, isn't it better to find out which app does that instead of just covering up the problem with an additional layer of software?
