AT&T Update

Just got a notification of a pending update. No idea what it is since I'm at work but I assume the latest security update. Can't install it until I get home where there is WiFi. Guess I'll have to wait and see when I get out of work or until someone here downloads it and reports what it is.

There was for AT&T. Not sure about the unlocked version.

Yes, there was one June 26th. Surprisingly AT&T has been pretty good with the monthly updates for the Note 8.

We used to blame carriers for slow updates. With unlocked not receiving any updates, the issue seems to be with samsung itself.

S9/S9+ are on the June 1st patch for AT&T.

I haven't seen this issue since my Note was new but... since the Security Update, it's back! I had an issue (and several other folks did as well) where while in standby overnight, my Note generally uses about 6% or 7% of it's battery. That's every single night, like clock work. But back then, once or twice a week, with no rhyme nor reason, I'd wake up to 84% remaining - could never really get a handle on what was causing it either. The next Security Update cured it, never to happen again (10 months) until now - it's back! Anyone else noticed any battery differences since this most recent patch? I've cleared cache already too... it's not annoying enough for me to do a Factory Reset! I'll just wait for the August Security Update and see if that solves it, provided that happens with the Note 9 Launch coming!
