A small white box on edge of home and lock screen

Hi. I just noticed a small whote box at the edge of the screen. Narrow vertical at the edge of the screen, about 2 boxes high. It can be moved along the side but cant seem to get rid of it. Someone help me please!

That's the Edge Screen. If you hold and slide inwards, you should see your Edge Panels. You can, of course, disable this (or add more panels and customize size and position) from your phone's Settings (Settings/Display/Edge Screen)

You can set the transparency to 100% so it will still work as intended but you can't see it but obviously need to remember where it is, I have done this and have it located just above the power button

Or you can go to the edge panels settings and just turn it off. If you weren’t using it until now and don’t care about it, you won’t miss it turned off. I rarely use mine.
