Can anyone tell me why my ATT unlock note 8 don't get 4G LTE in Korea?

Hi, im in Korea right now using my unlock USA note 8 on the KT (Korea) network and all I get is 3G speed max. I checked the APN settings and its all correct. Is the USA note 8 missing any frequencies that Korea use for LTE?

South Korea uses bands 1. 3, 5, 7 and 8 for LTE, and the N950U handles them all. And Olleh, SK Telecom and LG U+ all provide LTE. I'd check with the carrier you're using, to see if they can figure it out.

If it's unlocked, then it should work on ANY network in any country. I've used my Verizon Note 8 with no problems in Okinawa and Japan.

Is it a dual sim?
If so, the second sim slot only supports 2g/3g

With any carrier that uses a band it supports. 2G is universal, but 4G? That's another story. But the Note 8 supports the bands used by the only carriers I've been able to find for S. Korea, so it should work. KT uses Bands 1, 3 and 8 for LTE, so there shouldn't be any problem. (The Note 8 even covers Bands 28 and 38, in case they moved over in the 2016 change.)

The second SIM SHOULD support LTE as well. I've never used a second SIM though.

I don't have the dual sim anymore so can't check but I'm nearly sure that on mine the second sim slot, the one that can also take the sd card would only support 2g/3g
