    When I owned the s8+ I kept getting that SIM card message saying it’s not inserted and it would make my phone useless until I turned it off and on again. Does the note s8 have that same reoccurring problem?

    Either your SIM card or phone was faulty because that isn't normal.

    Nope, never seen that. I'm guessing either the Sim card or the device needs to be replaced.

    My s8+ or my wife's s8 never had that problem. But if you are looking at a note, might as well go with the 9. If I had waited 2 more months I would have had it. But sadly I am an impulse buyer.

    I had the same problem a few months ago on my note 8 after a software update. Rebooting made it go away but it eventually came back. I finally took out my SIM card and reinstalled it and haven't had a problem since
